APS Factory Replica IWC Portuguese 7 Days Power Reserve IW501702 – Susan Reviews on Replica Watches
I never expected APS factory to release this replica IWC watch before Z factory, as the Portuguese 7 Days Power Reserve has long been ZF’s flagship model. The IW500705, particularly popular among replica enthusiasts, was originally powered by an APS-developed movement, though ZF commercialized it successfully. APS now offers several new Portuguese models, including the IW501702 reviewed here.
This replica shows promise but has clear shortcomings that Z factory would likely address. The movement, while based on a Dandong calibre with decorative plates, retains the wrong engraving (52010 instead of genuine 52011). Jewel colors slightly differ, and some gears remain static when wound. The dial exhibits a subtle yellowish tint versus the genuine pure white.
Specifications:
Movement: Modified Dandong base with plates mimicking IWC 52011 (incorrectly marked 52010)
Case: 42mm×13.2mm 316F steel, slightly slimmer than previous versions
Crystal: Domed sapphire
Dial: Minor color variance, functional power reserve and small seconds
Strap: Blue alligator leather (upgradable)
