Clean Factory Watch

The development of Clean factory – Susan Reviews on Replica Watches

I already discussed Clean extensively in my previous replica watch reviews. For a deeper understanding of Clean factory, refer to this article.

Before Clean emerged, Noob and AR were the top Submariner replica makers, though both have since closed. Their Submariners had two major flaws: fading bezel markers and incorrect green hues. A market-savvy individual spotted an opportunity to create better ceramic bezels. In 2019, Clean launched its first green ceramic bezel, which quickly gained popularity for its accurate color and fade-resistant markers. This success led to bezel production for the Daytona 116500LN and the first-generation Submariner under the “ZZF” name. Initially, Clean couldn’t compete with Noob and AR, but they later improved their bezels.

By late 2020, Clean announced GMT-Master replicas with a clone 3186 movement, though sales began in mid-2021. Throughout 2019, Noob, AR, and ZZF competed fiercely in the Submariner market. VS factory then entered with a superior Dandong 3135 movement, offering better stability than ZZF’s. Despite Clean’s superior finish, VS gained traction due to better quality control and reputation. Clean responded by upgrading to Shanghai 3135 movements and rebranding as “Clean” instead of “ZZF.” This sparked intense competition with VS.

VS later sourced Clean’s bezel supplier and developed the Dandong 3235 movement, used in YachtMaster and Submariner models. Clean countered with a Shanghai 3235 movement, though it had shorter power reserves. Meanwhile, Noob and AR struggled to keep up. In early 2020, raids shut down Noob, AR, and eventually VS, leaving Clean as the sole survivor.

Clean then made three pivotal moves: adopting Dandong 4130 movements for Daytonas, integrating Dandong 3135 into Submariners, and developing the Dandong 3285 for GMT-Masters. These steps cemented Clean’s dominance in super clone Rolex watches, though VS remains a competitor due to its Dandong 3235 movement. Clean’s rapid success stemmed from both quality and luck, as detailed in another post.
