The name “Chimera” reflects its extraordinary, almost unreal design. Unlike conventional watches assembled from multiple components, this U-Boat flagship features an innovative two-part case secured by five asymmetrically placed screws (at 1:00, 3:00, 8:00, and 10:00 positions). The white cream sandwich dial boasts luminous black numerals and markers for nighttime visibility. As a chronograph, it features: a central seconds hand, 6:00 subdial for minutes, 12:00 subdial for hours, and 3:00 subdial for regular seconds. The 9:00 position displays the date above designer Italo Fontana’s name. The polished stainless steel bezel complements three left-side buttons (10:00 for chrono reset, 8:00 for start/stop) and a functional crown.

Powering this marvel is an Asian 7750 automatic chronograph movement, visible through the exhibition caseback, renowned for its reliability.
