Nautilus 5712 OME vs PPF – Susan Reviews on Replica Watches
In the replica watch industry, the emergence of OME has compelled PP Factory to enhance the movement of their replica Nautilus 5712. Previously, PP Factory improved the engravings on the 240 movement, as discussed in an earlier post. Currently, OME exclusively produces replica Patek Nautilus 5712 models, including stainless steel and gold versions. While many reviewers claim OME’s 5712 surpasses PP Factory’s version, I conducted a comparison using OME’s gold 5712 and a PPF stainless steel model with upgraded SW dial, hands, and moon phase.
The first image compares OME’s gold 5712 (left) with PPF’s stainless steel version (right), which features SW components. Although some suggest OME uses identical SW parts, the PPF’s SW elements appear superior. Notably, OME employs a solid axis for the hands.
The second and third images highlight case differences. OME’s 5712 has a thinner middle case, though overall thickness matches PPF’s. OME excels in lug-end finishing, offering a more refined look. Upgrading PPF’s dial, hands, and moon phase incurs significant additional costs, potentially making it pricier than OME’s version.
